Descriptor is the general term for Labyrinth-provided information.

Most descriptors appear as mental text, either simple, or organized in sheets or panels. Despite its text-like nature, descriptors are purely mental dialogue, they do not appear to Professionals in their visual field, but in their mindscape.

They are definitively not blue.

Non-Professionals

While non-Professionals cannot access descriptors, there is one exception to the rule:

Unpaired/Inactive Gates do have a descriptor that anyone, including unqualified non-Professionals can access by observing the Gate[1]. The discovery of those descriptors has caused ripples in Labyrinth theory, since the common assumption was that Professionals were somehow altered by the Labyrinth, gaining access to those. The fact that people having never come in contact with the Labyrinth can "see" them, just like Professionals, has profound philosophical implications.
