Gatepost
Gatepost is the name of the main British city in the Labyrinth.
The town is centered around the Great Gate to London in Grailburg. By ordinance, there's a large clearing surrounding the Gate proper[1] to allow for shipment and Professional team movements.
Also nicknamed "London-Outside" on the occasion, it's a sizeable town that has a regular population of a couple hundred Professionals, although most of them leave the city regularly to go deeper into the Labyrinth. As a result, except for a handful of Professionals, the majority of the homes there consist of Inns or similarly private company housing.
Most British Labyrinth Companies have their main headquarters there, with a secondary headquarters sometimes closer to their main focus of operations.
The Archives
Gatepost is the seat of the Labyrinth-side version of the Archives, the library holding all information gathered thus far about the Labyrinth[2]. The Earth-side is located at the former Royal Labyrinth Company headquarters in the Queen's House next to the Earth side of the Great Gate.
