Earth-570

The Earth-570 divergence is that last one known so far. It opens on Nov. 9th 1918, 199 years ago LT (Labyrinth Time).

Earth-570 is the last divergence date in True History. There are rumors from distant sheaves of later divergences, but none has been confirmed.

Earth-570 is a terrifying cautionary tale. The Berlin Gate was seized by nationalists amidst the revolution occurring against the Kaiser for the failure of the World War One. They recruited as many Professionals they could, and pushed a program of massive levelling and keeping the Gate “German” against the allies incoming armies who refused an armistice and pushed to seize the Gate.

Under the leadership of a nationalist, Anton Drexler, they organized the systematic execution of any new Professional arriving at the Plaza once the coalition seized Berlin, while power-levelling. Thirteen years later, encouraged by the existence of the “ubermensch”, the name they gave to the Adjustment-bearing Professional Germans that came out of the depth of the Labyrinth, they came out for The Rache - revenge. Overconfident in the Labyrinth properties, unable to maintain a sizeable foothold, they engaged in a politic of scorched earth, as Professionals are relatively immune to toxic and neurotoxic gas. Using Crystal-Empowered weaponry, they literally wrecked the planet over a decade of large-scale terrorism.

A hundred years after the Gate opened, in the local 2020, there’s less than 10 million people still surviving in tiny city-states in the southern hemisphere on a planet whose ecology has been wrecked, and entire continents are deadly places for anyone under 80 Stamina.
