A sheaf is the term used by Labyrinth civilizations to denote a set of closely linked zones.

Most zones are linked a kind of loose net, with multiple pathways available between zones, be it through upper or lower tiers.

Great Gates connected to a specific divergence tend to be linked through multiple pathways, generally among tier three. Distinct divergences tend not to have any linkage below tier eight in normal geometry or tier six through trunk zones.

Major sheaf

The term Major sheaf is reserved for a set of zones that cannot be accessed except by going through a trunk or nexus zone.
