Fast travel
Professionals have the special ability to Fast travel to a different Gate when crossing any Gate in the Labyrinth or outside.
Each Professional has a series of Gates leading a tier, visible on the current location descriptor. The Fast travel ability can be triggered mentally by focusing on one of those Gates, provided that one charge is available. The Professional will then exit from the selected Gate rather than the current Gate's twin.
The list of available Gates is limited to one Gate leading to a given tier, up to the highest tier of the Professional's Professions. i.e. a Professional with one tier 3 Profession has one Gate choice for a tier 1 zone, one for a tier 2 zone, and one for the tier 3 zone.
Any choice may be dropped from selection, letting the Professional to pick the next Gate crossed as its new choice for that tier.
Charge acquisition
New charges for Fast travel are accumulated over time. The more charges already accumulated, the slower this process goes.
Strangely enough, the quantum of time required for charges is ¼ of a sidereal period of the Moon in the current Zone (equal 6.83 days for Earth and sufficiently Earth-like zones). This may causes the time to acquire new charges to change in some high tier zones of the Labyrinth. For instance, charge accumulation in Nertalun, a moonless zone, appears impossible. Professionals in that zone do not accumulate even a partial charge, and the location descriptor does not indicate a time.

Non-Labyrinth use
Fast travel can be used outside of the Labyrinth, but the Professional must still cross one of the Great Gates.
