Artifact Hunting Company is a company founded by Abraham Zacharias when the Royal Labyrinth Company was broken up in 1815. It is sponsored by the Earl of Carnavon (who is still alive in 1818).
It is introduced first in the prequel story The Infinite Labyrinth: Recruit.
It was envisioned as a group of Professionals hunting for heroic and artefact of low level enough to be sold, notably those who have no level requirement, with the usual side revenue of gear recycling that most Labyrinth Companies do. Those plans fell to the wayside when the difficulty of raising enough Professionals to high tier five proved too high. The company still survives on whatever little revenue they scrounge, and tries to recruit early and level Professionals from tier one in the hope of locking down an exclusive on some Legends... some day.
Known characters in the Artifact Hunting Company (mostly from the prequel):
- Abraham Zacharias (tier 5)
- Amelia Fiadh O'Mangan (high tier 4 melee)
- Sirius Talmage Commins (high tier 4 healer)
- Leslie Harrison Maxwell (quartermaster)
- Adelbert Dominick Harvey (tier 4)
- Tom Nathaniel Turner (?)
- Richard Julian Ketton (mid-tier 3)
- Luther Francis Fullmore (mid-tier 3 arcanist)
- Ada Deborah Fullmore (nee Walsh, mid-tier 3 melee)
- Richard Carolus Hicks (mid-tier 3 healer)
