Recall Stones are marble "sculptures" located in front of a Plaza.
A common motif is that of two man-sized pillars of different colored stone intertwined so that each pillar ends just above where the other began. The base of the Recall Stone is a foundation block of about a feet thick, usually the same marble-like stone as a Plaza.
Touching a Recall Stone changes the destination point of a Professional's Recall ability to the Plaza.
Moving Recall Stones
It was quickly discovered that Recall Stones can be dug out from their Plazas and moved, even across different zones. Such endeavor is difficult, owning to the weight of a Recall Stone, but doable.
Removing a Recall Stone from the ground clears the Recall destination of every Professional that used it. The destination is reset to the Plaza of the zone where they are at the moment the Stone stops touching ground. For Professionals outside the Labyrinth, their destination appears to be reset to their original Plaza, although there is now speculation that this might be a slightly different rule. Further experimentation is warranted.
When emplaced on a new location, the Recall Stone can be used again to change the destination of Recall. This sets it to near the new location rather than the zone's Plaza. This has led to the practice of moving Recall Stones from their Plazas to strategic location of in-Labyrinth towns or major outposts, usually near a Gate. This allows a Professional to travel relatively easily across the Labyrinth, as you can recall, then immediately use Fast travel through the Gate.
