Items are objects found in the Labyrinth that are not directly wearable by Professionals, but have a descriptor.

Descriptor

Item name/description -
Quality Required: level N (optionally)
Provides: benefit

Food

Food items can be obtained from creature corpses. Typically, one can obtain slice of meat, or uneaten pieces of the creature's diet. Unlike a creature's randomly having a piece of gear, those appear only when the creature's corpse decompose. Raw food with a descriptor does not spoil.

Vegetable foods (fruits, grains) can also be sometimes harvested from trees, bushes and other places. Transplanted earth crops can grow in the Labyrinth, but they never have a food descriptor.

Descriptors for food disappear when the food is processed (cooked, mixed, prepared), or when brought back to earth. Once on Earth, the Labyrinth food becomes susceptible to spoilage, and Professionals cannot access the descriptor anymore.

Containers

Various bags, chests and purses can be found in the Labyrinth, albeit very rarely. There is a huge variety of such containers, ranging from a small belt pouch to entire lair treasure boxes.

One of the advantages of Labyrinth containers is that they are quite hard to steal. No cutpurse has ever been able to lift a belt purse, even with full cooperation of the Professional for the attempt. Unless freely handed, it's impossible to steal one.

Some of the containers found in the Labyrinth were found to be quite clever, and have single-handedly changed the style of packs and luggage in the British Empire, sporting "Modern" versions (which lack a descriptor, being produced by mundane means). "Authentic" baggage from the Labyrinth fetches high prices, due to its relative rarity.

The most famous containers are the Puppets, which can be used by Professionals to swap pieces of gear.

Power Crystal

Power Crystals are the only mineral item harvested with a descriptor. Professionals can therefore manage the wear and use of Power Crystals in everyday use.

Artifact Orbs

One of the most mysterious treasure of the Labyrinth, the Artifact Orbs appear frequently in treasures guarded by Legends[1], in addition to the gear. Unlike other items, the Orbs do not have a "Provides" listing on their descriptor, although they have a minimum required level.

Orbs come in a vast variety of colors and matters, from pure black raw stone to translucent colored exotic crystal forms. There's only one single example of duplicated orbs, which, weirdly enough have the same required level, despite coming from different Legends.
