Personal history

Ahati-waqrat was born in Babylon, on the same auspicious day as Samsu-iluna, son and heir of Hammurabi. Considered blessed by the god with this sign, she was devoted to the Esagira, the temple of Marduk, the Babylonian city-god.

The Great Gates opened up during a grand ceremonial dedicated to the Solar Calf, at the occasion of the Summer Solstice. Many worshipers took the appearance of the sculpted Gate as a divine sign and clustered around the phenomenon. When the unstable Gate initialized, over a dozen worshipers, priests and priestesses ended up surviving being thrown into the Labyrinth.

She’s now a trouble-shooter for the polities of the High Tiers.
