The Company of St Nicholas is one of the companies legally allowed to operate in the British section of the Labyrinth. It is sponsored by the Earl of Clancarty as a way of recruiting Irish Professionals. [1].

The Earl of Clancarty felt that the Irish had suffered a lot during the 1816 typhus epidemic that ravaged Ireland. As a result, he's offered a way to any of the young men and women of the Connacht to become Professionals, under the provision that they serve their province in any time of need. But even with the help of measuring devices for 18+ potential, it takes time to find people to fill teams.
