Alton Raby
Piercer Alton Raby is a shanghaied tier two Professional.
Born in Jacob's Island, one of the worst slums of London, he's been drifting in whatever occupation he could have, from pure finder to rat catcher. Even after his gang's dissolution, he was doing salvage ("mudlark") to live from day to day.
Dreaming of getting out, he was watching the "prosperous" crowds near the Queen's Gardens when French Saboteurs launched an attack on the Great Gate of London. Trying to get to safety, he was snagged by the Gate's closure backlash, adapted and dumped in the Labyrinth. Since then, he's been discovering the enormous amount of freedom that a Professional in the Labyrinth can enjoy.
Currently belongs to the Adapted Team.
