Regeneration is a general ability of Professionals that affect their vital levels.

Regeneration Mechanics

The base, 100% level, of Regeneration causes any vital currently under its maximum value to increase by the Professional's current level, with modifications, every second.

Health Level × ⅓
Mind Level × ¼

i.e. a level 300 Professional would recover 300 Endurance, 100 Health or 75 Mind every second.

Whenever a vital is reduced, either by an attack, effect or spending that vital for a skill, the base regeneration of that vital drops to 0% and the vital thus stops regenerating. Enhanced Regeneration

Some pieces of gear include Regeneration percentages.

Those percentages are permanently added to the variable base percentage, as long as that piece of gear is worn.
