Lingering Death is a stacking status applied to a deceased Professional following a successful resurrection. The resurrector gets a lesser effect, Sacrifice.
Lingering Death. -1% of potentials and vitals, regeneration halved |
Resurrection applies 50 stacks of Lingering Death, for a total of 50% of potentials and vitals maximum lost. For each hour afterward, one stack of Lingering Death disappears, until the full effect is ended.
Due to the 50 stack application, if a Professional has 50 or more Lingering Death still remaining, they cannot be resurrected again. The absolute minimum time between two Resurrections is 1 hour.
Lingering Death is used by the British as a way to subdue Professionals imprisoned in the Tower of London[1] as it drastically reduces their abilities.
