The Chinese consider the Labyrinth to be the set of the Greater Planes (or sometimes Celestial Planes), the various realms that exist between Heaven (presumably atop the Labyrinth) and Earth.
Used in the plural, it is a synonym for the Labyrinth, used in the singular, for a Zone.
