[[Milestones]] are a permanent bonus acquired from [[level|leveling]] a [[Profession]] to a given threshold.

Each [[Milestones|Milestone]] manifests as three components:
# A permanent increase to some [[Potential]]s
# An increase in a secondary [[ability]]
# A free [[rank]] for any [[skill]] that shares a common element with the [[Milestones|Milestone]]'s [[Skill sphere]]

The first [[Potential]] increased by a [[Milestones|Milestone]] is typically the first [[Potential]] required by the [[Milestones|Milestone]]'s [[Profession]].

The increase in secondary abilities manifest as a cap. Two different [[Milestones]] increasing the same [[ability]] do not add; only the highest has any effect.

[[Milestones]]' [[descriptor]]s can be accessed from a [[Professional]]'s [[descriptor]], unlike its [[Profession]]s (only the active [[Profession]] is available).
